I love watching her swim. I've known her since we were kids. Her parents died in a fire when her house burned down. She was adopted by Hatori when she was 4 years old. Her name is Sydney. She's a tomboy, she's funny, she's competitive, she's bold and hot-tempered. Her best friends are Kyo and me. She has blue eyes and long brown hair.
Sy: Come on, Haru! Are you going to STARE at the lake all day or are you going to get in!?
Me: Alright, I'm coming.
I took off my shirt and jumped in the lake.
Sy: It's a good thing no one else knows about this place. If they did, it would be really crowded and it wouldn't be any fun coming here anymore.
Me: I guess so.
She swam up behind me and wrapped her arms around my neck.
Sy: Why so glum, Haru? Let loose and have fun. I only told you about this place because I know you can keep a secret and Kyo doesn't like water, so he'd NEVER go swimming with me.
Me: Okay.....
Sy: I love swimming, but I hate going alone. That's why I asked you to come with me. I love having you around.
Me: Huh?
She let go of me and dived underwater. I looked around for her but I couldn't find her. She came up behind me and pushed me under.
Sy: Gotcha!
She let me go and I resurfaced.
Me: *cough-cough* Are you trying to kill me!?
Sy: Maybe.
Me: You're going to pay for that, you know that, right?
She turned around and swam away.
Sy: Only if you can catch me!
I started swimming after her.
Me: You're on!
I dove underwater and swam up behind her. I resurfaced and wrapped my right arm around her neck and my left arm around her waist.
Me: Gotcha.
Sy: Okay, fine. You caught me. Now, what's my punishment for pushing you underwater, O Great Water Master?
Me: First, let's go in the cave behind this waterfall.
So, we did. I sat on a rock and sat Sydney on my lap.
Sy: So?
Me: What?
Sy: What's my punishment?
Me: Kiss me.
Sy: (blushing) Say WHAT, now!?
Me: You heard me. If you don't do it, I'll never go swimming with you again.
Sy: Fine.
She slowly pressed her lips to mine. When our lips met, it's like a waterfall of visions filled my head. Visions of the future. I know now that Sydney is the love of my life and I'm going to marry her someday.
Sy: (breaking off) I love you, Hatsuharu.
Me: I love you too, Sydney.
She rested her head on my shoulder and nuzzled it in my neck.
Me: I have something for you. It's a little wet because I didn't take it out of my trunks pocket before I got in the water.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a ring with a medium-sized ruby in the center. I slipped it onto her left ring finger.
Sy: What is it?
Me: A promise ring.
She looked into my eyes with those beautiful ocean blue eyes of her's.
Sy: What?
Me: Sydney, I promise you that, when the time comes, we WILL get married.
Sy: Really!?
Me: Yeah, unless you don't-
She cut me off by kissing me.
Sy: (breaking off) Yes. I love you, Hatsuharu.
Me: I love you too, my Waterfall.
We were married 7 years later. She got pregnant on our honeymoon and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lily Rose 9 months later. She got pregnant again and gave birth to another beautiful baby girl 16 years later who was named Angela Marie.
